My apologies for the break in posting; life sometimes has a way of disconnecting you from the world. It certainly hasn’t been from the lack of not having anything to say (my friends can vouch for this), more like not knowing what to exactly say. I spent a lot of time thinking back on things, almost like looking into a mirror of memories, seeing what I can discover about myself from what I have experienced. I’m not sure what doing this has given me, but at least I did it.
I think people are afraid to be reflective, after all its hard to do. Remembering the difficult times in your life is not at the top of anyone’s priority list (especially amidst all of the distractions we give ourselves), and to do it requires a certain level of self-trust.
I love life. And you know you had a good one if you can look back at yours and smile.
